Changing Perceptions of Boo Radley

Boo Radley, I already thought he wasn't a bad and creepy guy, but I couldn't give away the ending, so I just told you guys what I thought about him my Freshman year. Now, I think that he is still a good person.

Boo put all the little gifts in the tree for Jem and Scout. They would find them on their way home from school in the knothole. The gum, pocket watch, the dolls, etc. Atticus tells the kids that they shouldn't be playing that Boo Radley game, because they don't know who he really is. Although Atticus might not know much about him either, he is being kind and fair by not being rude and telling those tales about Boo. Miss Maudie told the story of why Boo has been locked up so long to Scout, which helped her understand why he doesn't come out at all. After Boo's dad died, his older brother came in and toook the mean place of his father.

Impression of Boo Radley

My freshman year, my I thought that Boo Radley would be a really creepy guy, and he still sounds like that same really creepy guy living down the road from Scout and Jem. You read that he has been stuck in his house for fiveteen years and has never came out. Even after his dad died, because then his older brother came, and did the same thing as their father and kept Boo locked up in the house. I believe that the rumors are not true and that the people of Maycomb county are just believing everything that they here from people.
I am most likely similar to Scout. I am very cautious with, or when I am doing things that could end badly. If I was Scout, I would have acted just the same as she did. I think that touching Boo Radley's house would be a bad idea. I am a complete scared-y cat!

best thing about English so far...

The best thing about English 9 (again) so far is the Susie story. It was pretty fun hearing Mrs. Gilman use her daughter's favorite doll as an example. The name game with the ball was hard, but fun also. I don't know anybody that well, because you all know I am a Junior in a Freshman english class. I liked writing the letter to Mrs. Gilman too. Writing isn't my strongest subject, but it was still a pretty cool assignment. I have never had to write a letter to any of my teachers before. I have multiple things that I enjoyed so far in English this year.
